Shiva received a PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the University of Arizona in 2013, and from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, in 2012 under a dual doctoral degree program. He is a co-inventor of the novel patented LDPC decoding algorithms and concepts that the company was founded on as part of his doctoral research. After his graduate studies, he co-founded the company with his PhD advisors, and since then has served as its CEO.<\/p>\n<\/div>

David was previously full professor at the ENSEA in Cergy-Pontoise, France, from 2001 to 2017. He is a senior member of the IEEE, and a widely renowned expert in the area of LDPC code and decoder design. He published more than 150 papers in the area, and holds 8 patents. Several of his contributions towards LDPC code and decoder design have been employed by industry as well as adopted in several standards. He is especially recognized for his pioneering works on non-binary LDPC code and decoder designs.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Bane is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona. A well known expert who has published extensively in the field of error-correction, several of his pioneering works have been recognized both in academia and industry, and considered for adoption in industry standards. Previously, he worked at Bell Labs where he was the key architect of a detector \/ decoder for magnetic recording read channel chips used in hard drives which were regarded at the time as the best in the industry. Wayne is a storage industry veteran of 20+years and a serial entrepreneur. He was formerly a VP of Seagate, an advisory board member to PMC-Sierra, as well as board member to Smarthome. Prior to that, he was co-founder\/CTO of Gadzoox Networks where he participated in 4 separate public and private funding rounds, raising over $58M in venture capital and equity investments, and responsible for two design centers (Irvine, San Jose) and product strategy. Wayne is an active angel investor as member of Tech Coast Angel and Arizona Tech Investors. In the last decade, he has had seven successful exits as a startup board member. He is currently VP of Business Development at Radian Memory Systems and CMO for a startup Formulus Black. His passion for managing innovation and experience in taking advanced technologies to market contribute significantly to leadership development and sales strategy of the company. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Gopi is a industry veteran with 22+ years of extensive experience in the Semiconductor, Software and Systems industry as a President & CEO, Vice President of Business Units , as well as Engineer.
\nHe is now a vice president of product management for the Connectivity Business Unit of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, he oversees product management and business development for the company\u2019s wired and wireless networking products.
\nGopi has played a key role in establishing Qualcomm\u2019s leading position in Wi-Fi, through the commercialization of 802.11ac solutions for the connected home. He led the company\u2019s whole-home Wi-Fi strategy and drove the development and launch of its Wi-Fi SON software, which resulted in a new category of distributed Wi-Fi products. Under Mr. Sirineni\u2019s leadership, Qualcomm Technologies expanded its home networking business and secured designs from all major router manufacturers.
\nGopi joined Qualcomm in 2012, through the acquisition of Ubicom. Prior to Qualcomm, he held executive marketing and engineering leadership roles at Ubicom, Appliedmicro, Cavium, Marvell and IDT, where he built up expertise in core networking, embedded CPU and Wi-Fi. He was also founder and chief executive officer of Cloudgrapes, a cloud transcoding company.
\nGopi earned a master\u2019s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas and a bachelor\u2019s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Mark Vanderaar has over 26 years, entrepreneurial, management, investment, and engineering experience in technology related businesses. He was the founder and CEO of Efficient Channel Coding (ECC) Inc., a company that developed error-correction technology IP for satellite communications. He led the company from its inception to its successful acquisition by ViaSat, Inc.. Mark has made significant technical contributions in satellite communications, optical networking, forward error correction and broadband terrestrial applications. He currently has 18 patents, several patents pending and has contributed to numerous publications.
